EDP Summer Program

EDP “Fun in the Sun” Summer Enrichment Program - 2008

The MSW Extended Day Program also offers daily care in the summer for school as well as non-school families.  The program is for grades PreK-4 through sixth and is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

There are a variety of activities planned throughout the summer.  Mondays and Wednesdays are packed with local trips, creative cooking, arts and crafts, nature projects and outdoor activities.  Tuesdays and Thursdays are “splash and swim days” and the children have exclusive use of Iroquois Pool in Des Plaines.  Fridays the children go on field trips to places such as museums, zoos, or places to bowl or skate. 

There are two sessions from June 16^th – July 11^th and from July 14^th –August 8^th.  There are three time segments:  7:00 – 10:00, 10:00 – 2:00 and 2:00 – 5:30.  Families have complete flexibility in choosing the time segments and the number of days that are needed.

Tuition is based on the number of segments and the number of days and is prorated accordingly.  There are also discounts for full-time participation.  If you are interested in the “Fun in the Sun” program, contact the EDP Director, Mrs. Marbach (lmarbach@maryseatofwisdom.org), at 847-692-2826.
