In recognition of the commitment each family makes to Catholic education, the School Board has made every attempt to keep our tuition increases to a minimum.  We are pleased to say that even with significant increases in salary and fringe benefits, as well as other expenses, we have been able to keep our tuition increase to only 7.5%.  We are continuing expansion in our foreign language program, sustaining our commitment to our resource services, yet keeping our tuition rates very competitive with other area Catholic Schools.  

The first month's tuition of the 2008-09 school year, and the technology fee of $210.00 must be paid no later than Monday, June 16, 2008.  To the extent you have not already provided a deposit, this commitment will ensure your child's space at MSW in the 2008 - 2009 academic year. The balance of tuition payments are due monthly September through May for a total of 10 payments.  A tuition contract and information packet will be sent home prior to the date with information on payment options.  Once again, a 3% discount is offered to families who make the full year's payment on or before June 16th.  Books/Supplies, Retreat fee and other fees (milk, lunch supervision, etc.) may be taken care of at our Back to School Book Day in August.


Parish Subsidy

The Parish Investment in the school budget is a subsidy of $289,181 which reduces K - 8 tuition by approximately $700 per student.  Just as the parish makes an investment in the important ministry of Catholic education for our children, school families are asked to make an investment in the many other important ministries of Mary, Seat of Wisdom parish through their contributions of time, treasure, and talent.  This can be done through the consistent use of Sunday envelopes.  The suggested weekly amount of contribution is $15.00.  The sharing of time and expertise in an area of need is another way to provide valuable services to the parish.  As a reminder of school policy, families that are registered in the parish but are not contributing members will be charged the non-parishioner rate of tuition.
