There are many ways to financially assist Mary, Seat of Wisdom School. We appreciate any way you choose to help keep MSW School fiscally sound.
First, support MSW Parish. MSW Parish invests approximately $300,000 annually in MSW School. The best way to support the parish school is to be generous with your weekly church envelopes.
The Wisdom Fund
Consider donating to the MSW Parish Educational Endowment Fund. Commonly known as The Wisdom Fund, this endowment sustains educational projects and activities available to parishioners and friends of all ages. For more information or to make a donation, please call the rectory at 847-825-3153.

Angel Dinner
Attend, donate, and/or volunteer for the annual Angel Dinner. The 40th Annual Angel Dinner will be held on March 12, 2011 at the Marriott O’Hare Hotel. MSW School receives 50% of all profits of Angel Dinner. In 2010, MSW School received $41,000 toward operating expenses, which in turn assists us in keeping tuition affordable.
Cubs Rooftop Event
Support the Cubs Rooftop Fundraiser, an event sponsored by the Barry and Purcell families, to enhance the quality of education at Mary, Seat of Wisdom School. In the past several years, this fundraiser has enabled the school to purchase fourteen new promethean boards for classrooms, library, and computer lab, re-wire the school to support current technologies, update the science lab, purchase educational materials for the math, reading, English, and science departments, begin a theater program, modernize the library software system, and provide professional development for the MSW teaching staff. We would welcome your donations of money or auction items, purchase of raffle tickets and participation in this fall event.
Full-cost Payment of Tuition
Parents, consider paying the full cost of your child’s tuition. During the 2010-11 school year, tuition paid 80% of the cost of education, or $4040 for one child at MSW School. Parish investment and fundraisers pay the remaining. Your donation of $996 or any portion of this amount, may be donated to help offset the Financial Assistance Program at MSW School. Kevin Griffin Scholarship Fund
Alums, consider donating to the Kevin Griffin Scholarship fund. This fund is named in honor of Kevin Griffin, a Mary, Seat of Wisdom School graduate, who passed away in 2004 at age 37. Mary, Seat of Wisdom School is a beneficiary of the generosity of the Griffin family, who provide financial assistance to MSW students based on financial need and a strong effort on the part of the student.
