Room 108: Mrs. Carla Calcagno
I love the homey feeling that MSW School has. There is a lot of support throughout the school and church. I get much joy from teaching at Mary, Seat of Wisdom. The teachers really care about their jobs because they care about the children they teach.
Background and Education
I grew up in Park Ridge and graduated from Mary, Seat of Wisdom. I loved the experience so much that my two children attend Mary, Seat of Wisdom School as well.
I went to Oakton Community College to earn an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development. I earned my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education at Northeastern Illinois University.
Years of Teaching Experience
I began teaching in 1994. Throughout the years I taught preschool, kindergarten, second, third grade and resource for second and third grade.
Hobbies and Interests
I love spending time with my family. We go on mini trips to explore nature. I love reading with my children and doing crafts with them.
