Background and Education
I am a graduate of the School of Education at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Certified Catechist with the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Years of Teaching Experience
It is my pleasure to be at Mary Seat of Wisdom for my seventh year.
What I like best about teaching at MSW School
I have had the privilege of benefiting from a Catholic education my entire life. It has defined my life view and I always count myself blessed for having had that advantage. To me Mary, Seat of Wisdom embodies all that is best in Catholic Education today. While we continually strive to provide the absolute best educational opportunities for all of our students, these opportunities all happen within the context of what it is to be Christian and specifically Catholic in today's world. Our faith is not just a subject here but instead pereates all that we do. It affords the children we teach each day the opportunity to not only excel in math, reading and science, but to grow as complete individuals, secure in their faith and able to live those precepts with conviction out in the wider world. The fundamental underpinning of our purpose in our world as Catholics sharing the Good News, I believe makes our students able to share their abilities with a confidence and grace that always marks them as graduates of Mary, Seat of Wisdom.
Additional Activities at MSW
As a member of the parish and a parent of two children here at the school I enjoy being active in the wider parish community as a Girl Scout leader, preschool leader during our Vacation Bible School program and as a Eucharistic Minister. I serve on the school's Technology Committee. I am also certified as a Promethean Board trainer, and I offer professional developement for the MSW teachers.
