The Computer Lab at Mary, Seat of Wisdom School is staffed by a full-time Computer Coordinator, who works to support the school’s curriculum through the use of technology. Teachers can schedule a weekly block of time for teacher-directed projects that tie into the school’s computer curriculum or a subject-area curriculum. The computer skills that are covered vary by grade level and subject area, and include: keyboarding; All the Right Type typing program; Orchards Program for Language Arts and Math; Kidspiration; PowerPoint; imovie; and, word processing skills. Grades 6-8 have set times in the computer lab to hone skills in multimedia technology, internet skills and internet safety.
