Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten program is a full-day program. We strive to educate the whole child, physically, emotionally, and spiritually as we sing, dance, learn, play, and pray together. Our classrooms are a loving and kind place where our students enjoy the Land of the Letter People Program as an avenue for learning language arts, math, science, and social studies in an integrated, multi-sensory experience. Each week features a new Letter Person who we get to know by sight and sound through a variety of fun and engaging activities.
Kindergarteners look forward to spending time with their third grade reading buddies who meet with them weekly to share the experience of reading. Our Catholic faith formation is woven through all subjects and structured around the Faith First Series, by Resources for Christian Living. The children are also exposed to Spanish through a weekly video program.
Kindergarten highlights include:
- Thanksgiving program during which the children sing songs and the first Thanksgiving for parents and other family members
- 100 Day of School celebration
- end of the year Letter Person Program where children present songs and readings for family and friends.
