I love to see the children’s world open up as they begin to decode words and learn to read.
Background and Education
I grew up in Chicago. I went to St. Benedict Grade and High School. I attended Northeastern Illinois University for two years, and then graduated from Northern Illinois University.
Years of teaching experience
I began teaching for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1976 at Our Lady, Help of Christians School. In 1980, I began teaching at Mary, Seat of Wisdom.
Additional Activities at MSW
I have been a facilitator for Rainbows for all God’s Children for many years.
For the last few years I have done an after school program called Cook With Books.
Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy reading, sign language, crafts, and walking my dog, Molly.
