Room 120: Ms. Anita Slaboch’s Class
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher. After seven years of going to night school taking one class at a time, I have realized my dream. I have never looked back to my corporate position and am eternally grateful for this opportunity.
Some may argue that teaching middle school and junior high students is too challenging, but I embrace the opportunity to work with these students. Everyday I am amazed at the wisdom and wit my students offer to the classroom and me.
Background and Education
I acquired my Bachelor’s Degree through Northeastern IL University in Elementary Education with a Middle School Endorsement. My Masters Degree was earned through St. Xavier University in Teacher Leadership.
Years of Teaching Experience
I have taught middle school since 2004 and at Mary Seat of Wisdom since 2005.
Hobbies and Interests
Beyond the classroom, I am a Park Ridge resident and a parishioner of Mary Seat of Wisdom Church. I enjoy working within the community I live and worship in. In my free time I enjoy cooking and baking, gardening, and love antique shopping.
