Room 222: Mrs. Kristin Jeske’s Class
“Teach a child how to think, not what to think.” – Sidney Sugarman
Background and Education
I was educated in Catholic schools for over twenty years of my life, starting in first grade and ending in graduate school. I attended St. Ignatius College Prep for high school and then went on to Loyola University, Chicago. I earned a B.A. in English, a B.S. in Education, and a M.Ed. in reading. I have three Illinois state teaching certificates with various endorsements.
Years of Teaching Experience
I began teaching junior high at Mary, Seat of Wisdom in 1993. At that time I taught literature and composition to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. I have since taught at Mary, Seat in some capacity for nine of the last fifteen years, taking time off to have my three children. I am now returning as a full-time language arts teacher for 7th and 8th grade.
