Mary, Seat of Wisdom

A Blue Ribbon School of Excellence

"Tuned Into Worship"

REMINDER: NO SCHOOL TOMORROW OR MONDAY! The teachers have a religion inservice on Friday, and Monday we are commemorating Presidents Day. Have a wonderful weekend. We look forward to your return on Tuesday!

PLEASE REMEMBER AND SUPPORT the special "Angels in Uptown Weekend" which is a bonus fundraising opportunity for our annual parish ANGEL EVENT.

Some of the stores require that you bring in the voucher so please download these from the school website.

Friday 2/17 - Visit WineStyles and select a bottle of wine to share with your special Angel on Friday night!

Saturday 2/18 - Meet some friends at TeaLula and see the wide variety of teas available. Then head over to the Frame Gallery and custom-frame your favorite piece of artwork.  Stop by Brie's Gift Gallery to find a perfect little something for the many Angels that bless your life!  Top the afternoon off with an Angel treat for yourself - something sweet from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

Sunday 2/19 - Lunch or dinner at Tasty Pup!

Monday 2/20 - President's Day - Keep up the Angel spirit as several of the Angel merchants are still supporting our Angels in Uptown Fundraiser

Tuesday 2/21

- Angels in Uptown concludes with a Fat Tuesday Feast!  Come indulge your family with an Oberweis Dairy Ice Cream Treat!  Remember, Lent starts tomorrow!  Proceeds from purchases at all of these merchants will benefit Angel Event 41.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! .... to ALL Wisdom Player PARENTS and STUDENTS for a remarkably successful evening of spectacular theater last Saturday Evening February 11, 2012. The Wisdom Players' production of : Love in the Land of ODdZ wasGREAT...WHY?....because all of you worked together, sharing your time and talents. I hope your children come away with a spark of possibility  and promise...confidence and creativity...... as our little Sister Cupid (Bree Barry) said in the play..."AND AWAY WE GO!!!" About 150 students took part in this production. Kudos to Mrs. Margie Gibson, Screenplay and Director, and Ms. Lynn Creighton, Assistant Director and Choreographer.

Looking Forward:

-Fall 2012 Halloween "FREAK"-quel (aka sequel) in the Land of ODdZ

-Parent organization meeting/planning for future productions, etc  TBA

- Plans are in the works for a summer (3-4 wk) workshop this June/July. Those students involved will write, improv and develop scenes for future productions....and then also present their new scenes to an audience....  A real 'hands on' full theater experience for a small group of interested budding 'thespians'....please email Ms. G at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
