(Ms. Gross contacted parents of primary grade students as to which time their children perform.)  This is an OUT OF UNIFORM DAY and the Student Council will be selling glow sticks and candy!! Everything will be $1 or less!!

Parents are invited!

Last year we had an excellent response to the SCHOOL SURVEY, with over one hundred responses. Change takes time, and funds, and personnel so even if you did not see immediate changes in some areas, your input is needed and helpful.  In a year of transition, your responses would be extremely helpful to the administration and the School Board. Please go tohttp://tinyurl.com/c3up8sx and take the MSW School Survey!!  We have extended the deadline to May 4th to give our parents more time to give your input!!! The School Board will be issuing a summary report of the survey results at the end of the school year.  Thank you for taking this time to help us plan for the future and keep MSW School a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence!

Color Portraits will be at school to take CLUB PICTURES for the Yearbook on Tuesday, April 24th. We will also take pictures of the baseball and softball teams, so these students need bring their team jerseys.  The moderators of some clubs may ask the students to bring their Club shirts on picture day. The club moderator will notify you if this is the case.

To all Mary, Seat of Wisdom School Families:   Please sign-up with our new FACTS Management Company regarding your MSW Tuition for the 2012/13 year. We need ALL families to sign-up by Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Thank you.

Wednesday's 8:40 am Mass was said in memory of Tommy DeGrasse, the older brother of Maggie (2nd grade) and Mia (1st grade).  The school children attended the Mass and remembered the DeGrasse family in our prayers. The planting of bulbs around the MSW property this past October ("TOMMY'S TULIPS"project) was organized and funded by his family in his memory, for what would have been Tommy's tenth birthday.  Tommy died in November of 2002, at the age of 19 months. What a wonderful way to honor Tommy, as we have all been uplifted by the beautiful blooming tulips this spring.

We are seeking student submissions for CREATIVE CONNECTIONS, MSW School's book of student creative writing. Submissions are due by Friday, May 4th, and are accepted from students in Grades 3-8. Please send your child's poems, essays, etc. to Mrs. Coyle  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ,  and/or Mrs. Carlson  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

They must be typed and sent electronically in a Word Document.  We are hoping that this is the best Creative Connections book ever published at MSW!

MSW is collecting CLEAR PLASTIC BOTTLES and CANS to help St. Cornelius School win $50,000 from Pepsi's Dream Machine Recycle Rally! Bins are available near the school office. Help the ENVIRONMENT while we help our neighboring school win the contest! The Pepsi Rally benefits schools and other charities, such as Post 911 War Veterans. There are bins near the school office. Pease save any cans or bottles from home and bring them to school from now until April 30th.

MSW is holding our annual SHOE DRIVE. Please bring in your old shoes! There are bins in the lobby near the school office. We need 500 pair of shoes to participate in Nike Foundation's Drive. The shoes are recycled and donated to the poor.

DON'T FORGET! MSW is producing a new/updated parish photo directory (the last issue was in 2005! Babies in 2005 are now making their First Communions! It's time to update our family "album".) There is NO COST to having your (family) portrait taken and you will receive a complimentary 8x10 portrait and directory for participating! (If you want additional copies of the photographs for friends and family, there is a charge.)

YOU CAN SIGN UP FOR YOUR PHOTO-SHOOT APOINTMENT NOW.  Please check the parish website:www.msw.org and click on the LifeTouch button.  Appointments can also be made after weekend Masses in the church Gathering Space.
